This is something we’ve been asked about since the Celebrant Institute first began — almost seven years ago. Members have long wanted a way to show they’re part of a professional community, but until now, we’ve held back. Honestly, at first I didn’t think it would be worth anything to anyone – as if a couple getting married would know who the Celebrant Institute is; and I also stressed about people using the badge without being current members.

So why now?
