Trying to input previous marriage’s children’s birth years on BDM site… there are 5, it will only accept 1. I’ve tried commas and with out, not go.
This has been a disaster for a LOT of people, due to a TINY colon that’s pretty difficult to see, and a poorly worded field name. The field name is “Previous Children of Marriage: 1”, “Previous Children of Marriage: 2”, etc. So a lot of people have read it as “list all the children from previous marriage number 1 in this box”, rather than “list the first child from a previous marriage in this box.”
The answer is that you have to do one at a time. If you put in 5 children, 5 boxes will pop up, and you put one year of birth in each box 🙂
