If you’ve been lucky enough to create a marriage ceremony recently, and it was in New South Wales, you might have noticed a change to their eRegistry software that requires all last names to be in UPPERCASE.
If you’re like me, you know this, but still type the names in Title Case when using the NSW BDM.
So if you’re using a Mac, here’s a tip. Right click on the selected text, in the context menu that appears, choose “Transformations”, and then “Make Upper Case”.
Every. Flipping. Time.
Thanks mate.
I just tried this on Chrome (my preferred browser) and sadly it doesn’t have this option. Might be worth switching to Safari for this.
It’s a standard requirement so why can’t BDM change their field to automatically convert to capitals?
